Lewis Hamilton Named GT Sport In-Game Adviser
With the launch of Gran Turismo Sport on PS4 just days away, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has been named as the titles’ in game adviser. Three times F1 champion Lewis will share his racing knowledge with GT Sport players. The F1 ace will appear in the game as a guide to help players improving their racing technique. With his experience, players will get the chance to be the best they can be in the upcoming racing game.
Once again this is an example of PS4 news that gamers on the platform will see as commitment to the console. Speaking at the announcement of his advisory role in the game, Hamilton spoke of his love for the Gran Turismo franchise as well as his driving philosophy;
“I have been playing Gran Turismo since I was a child. so to actually be part of the gameplay design has been an incredible experience.” – Lewis Hamilton
Driving Tips for Success in GT Sport
As part of the star’s reveal as a GT sport in-game adviser Sony also released an introductory video. The trailer shows the F1 driver taking GT Sport through its paces. What follows are some interesting gems on driving technique and an insight into the drivers’ personality.
