Fifa 16, this years edition of the popular Fifa Football video game franchise will feature women’s National Teams for the first time ever in the title’s history. Players will initially be able to select the women’s football team of their choice from an initial 12 available options. As in real football, the women’s football teams in the game will only be able to compete exclusively against other Women’s National Teams.
The perennial football sim comes with the usual tweaks and improvements to align with and meet consumer expectations but the addition of women’s team is by far the most noteworthy. Check out the trailer above for a sneak peek on how the game will look like.
Countries that will be available when the game ships later this year are: Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy, and Mexico.
