Ubisofts’ Watch Dogs 2 free trial is now open, giving gamers on PS4 the chance to try out the open world adventure game at no cost. The acclaimed game developer is giving players the opportunity to sample both the game’s single and multiplayer options. In total, gamers will have access to nearly three hours of gameplay.
Watch Dogs 2 Free Trial Now Live
According to Ubisoft, players taking on the Watch Dogs 2 free trial will get full access to all the games’ features. And you’l be playing as talented young hacker Marcus Holloway. You’ll also team up with collective dedsec as you take on some deadly criminal masterminds.
The release of the playable Watch Dogs 2 Demo comes after the games’ retail success since its release last November. If you are interested in trying out the Watch Dogs 2 free trial you can download the demo from the Playstation Store.
For PS4 owners who hadnt’ got the chance to own Watch Dogs 2 this will be good news. And the new free to play PS4 content will join an ever growing list of free, playable PS4 demos.
The free demo features story, coop, and adversarial modes for players on PS4 to try out. In your armoury will be the ability to take control of the cities infrastructure and upgraded tools such as drones. In addition you’ll also have access to 3D-printed weapons as you hack your way through San Francisco.
The Watch Dogs 2 free trial does include some in-game purchase but they are optional. If you do end up spending some money on the game, or decide to buy the full game all your progress will be carried over to your full version.
The Watch Dogs free trial will be available to download from the 17 th of January 2017 on the PlayStation store.
