Sony’s Playstation VR headset has been out for over a week and no doubt gamers on PS4 are enjoying their new hardware. The company has already released an unboxing video of the virtual reality gaming system, but now Sony has taken things a bit further. Those interested in the more technical side of their gaming setup can now see exactly what’s under the hood of the PS VR rig.
The attractive and futuristic-looking headset is taken apart screw by screw by Sony Interactive Entertainment mechanical design director Takamasa Araki in a new video released by the company.
Araki removes each part with precision to show exactly what powers the mid-range virtual reality headset including the motion sensors that track the user’s movement.
