PopCap Games has released a new Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 video which details the insane maps from the upcoming multiplayer FPS sequel.PopCap promises fans of the franchise that the new game will be much bigger and more crazy than the previous iterations of the popular shooter title.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 features over 100 playable characters, 14 classes, an expansive Backyard Battleground, and over a dozen maps. Set in a time after Dr. Zomboss and his mighty Z-Mech turned the tide of battle, the game’s’ developers wanted to ensure that players got to experience the Plants vs. Zombies universe at a deeper level than ever before.
PopCap went about this by placing emphasis on the attention to detail that the maps received. This included ensuring each map had great gameplay mechanics, incredible 24-player environments, and of course, hidden secrets.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is out on 23 February 2016, with access to the Z7 Imp and Mech part of exclusive content for those who pre-order the game.
