The team at Uppercut Games in Australia have prepared for all lovers of PlayStation adventure games a new exploration-adventure game called Submerged, for PS4.
In fact, Submerged is a exploration action-adventure PS4 game which takes place in a town that has mysteriously become flooded and overgrown. This game follows the story of siblings Taku and Miku, who arrive at this weird place in their small wooden boat. As you’ll notice at the beginning of game, young Taku is seriously wounded, and therefore Miku (his older sister) has to carry her injured brother to a suitable shelter and gather necessary supplies to help him recover.
Trapped in this half-submerged ancient city, Mitu have to find all essential supplies to save the life of her younger brother. But it’s not at all easy task. She will have to explore the flooded city streets in a simple fishing boat using a telescope, and to locate various “forgotten caches” of resources. Once she locates them, she’ll have to climb on the old crumbling buildings in order to grab these life-saving items, and bring them back to wounded Taku.
Along the way, you will discover the secrets of how this mysterious sunken metropolis came to be, why Taku and Miku travelled there, and find out more about the inhabitants of these areas – who appear to be misshapen copies of the native sea-life. However, as the gameplay progresses, this adventure is becoming stranger and more interesting.
Playing Submerged, PS4 gamers will be completely relocated into the game virtual world thanks to its gorgeous 3d graphics (developed by Unreal Engine 4) as well as great musical and other audio elements.
