Ubisoft is holding an open beta for the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division game as the developer looks to iron out any kinks and glitches in the game before its release on 8 March. The Tom Clancy’s The Division Beta is a chance for gamers and fans of the franchise on PlayStation 4 to have an early preview of what to expect when the third-person shooter/MMO game launches next month.
The Tom Clancy’s The Division Beta version a pre-release build that Ubisoft is hoping will help in making sure that the important tasks of making the game balanced and testing the servers are carried out in preparation for launch day. In addition to full game and online multiplayer access with a PS Plus membership, remote play will be supported, as will the Dualshock 4 vibration function.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Beta Now Open
Tom Clancy’s The Division is Ubisoft’s attempt at creating an open-world RPG game and is seen as the Game Developers answer to Bungie’s online-only first-person shooter video game. Players will be immersed into a dynamic world that is constantly changing and will need to make the right tactical decisions during everything from RPG action to trading in order to survive.
For PlayStation 4 gamers this will be the first time they will be able to have a look at Ubisoft’s new world and for those who already have, there is also a new story mission, a new deployable turret skill, as well as a new wing of HQ.
At the moment, beta testing has taken on more significance due to some titles facing serious issues post-launch.
