The latest instalment in the 20 year old JRPG Series “Tales of” called Tales of Zestiria is now out on PlayStation 4 and PS3. Even with a 20 year long history, the Tales series is only set to come to on the current gen PlayStation 4 console for the first time ever.
There was no lack in excitement after the fact that the game will be released on 16th October had been confirmed by it’s very own creators. Now with the new title out, players will be able to follow along the journey of Sorey, the main character, a simple shepherd with a long and exciting journey ahead of him.
In a nutshell, here’s how the story goes:
In Tales of Zestiria, the world is in danger. The planet’s balance has been disturbed as peace has been substituted with war. Corruption has runs to the very core of the the entire landscape for an eternity. The call is then made for a Shepherd, a person that can hopefully restore faith in humanity, and be able to transform the darkness into light as well.
Sorey is the young man that recieves this mission to unite both humans and the Seraphs. The Seraphs represent legendary and invisible beings that wander all over the land at will. His mission will be given assistance by his own friends and the people he will meet as the story progresses, and they include his childhood friend called Mikleo, Alisha, the princess knight, Rose, a merchant, and many more.
In addition to a Tales of Community page, BANDAI NAMCO Games are also launching a brand new Tales of Blog which will become the new base for fans of the franchise to discover the latest info on the Tales series and connected with like-minded gamers. There will also be cosplays, recaps of events, interviews, giveaways, fanart and so much more available via the blog so if you love ”Tales of” you should definitely keep an eye on that one!
