EA and LucasFilm have revealed that Star Wars Battlefront II will be coming to PlayStation 4 on November 17 2017. The latest installment in the popular franchise will feature an expanded multiplayer mode as well as an ambitious new single-player campaign. Players who order special editions of the upcoming PS4 game also stand to receive a range of exclusive goodies and rewards.

New single-player Star Wars story

As mentioned above, Star Wars Battlefront II will feature a brand new single-player Star Wars story. Players will be propelled into an action-packed campaign together with an elite team appropriately named the “Inferno Squad.” PS4 gamers get to play as Iden Versio, an Imperial special forces operative. And in the game, players are set to encounter the franchise’s best known heroes in their adventure. The story-line of the new single-player campaign will cover the 30-years between Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Furthermore, in Star Wars Battlefront II you will now be able to as more of your favorite heroes thanks to the expanded multiplayer. Star Wars legends such as Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Kylo Ren, Rey, and many other will be available as characters you can control. This is in addition to the fleet of starfighters you’ll be able to take into epic space battles.

Battlefront II’s new multiplayer will also bring more options. That’ll include detailed character customisation options, more weapons to choose from, and a valuable progression system.

Star Wars Battlefront II Pre-Order Rewards

In terms of getting your hands on the game come November 17, there’s plenty of rewards to pre-ordering Star Wars Battlefront II. Reserving the Standard Edition of the game gets you Star Wars: The Last Jedi-themed looks for Kylo Ren and Rey. You’ll also get epic ability modifiers for Rey and Kylo Ren and an ability modifier that upgrades the Millennium Falcon.

Those opting for the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition get an epic ability modifier, an enhanced scope modification and a A280-CFE blaster rifle instant weapon unlock. Anyone buying this edition will also receive upgraded versions of all Trooper classes and much more.
