The talented team at Gearbox Software has worked hard to make sure Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will be available on PlayStation 4 this week, and the wait is almost over! The package will comprise of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all the add-on content for both these titles.

This makes Borderlands: The Handsome Collection a perfect package for all Borderlands fans. The add-on content will add even more value to it. Sony claims that the animated menu on the titles will make it easier for gamers to switch between both titles whenever they wish to.

There are a bunch of great new features too. There’s a four-player local split screen feature along with the capability to transfer game saves from last-generation systems. Players can use the Cross-Save function to transfer their characters and Badass-Rank from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4, and vice-versa. This will also work for Borderlands 2. Even PlayStation Vita saves can be migrated easily.

Gearbox also announced the launch of the final season pass add-on content for Borderlands: The Pre Sequel — Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2. The new add-on campaign will be set inside Claptrap’s mind.

The campaign will revolve around Handsome Jack sending Vault Hunters after digitising right inside to look for the H-Source code. This add-on pack will also include the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 which will bump the level cap to 70.

Apart from that, there are several new bonuses that are now available for Tales from the Borderlands players. Gamers who have bought the Season Pass will be able to unlock the new heads and skins in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. There’s finally a good amount of Borderlands content now arriving on the PlayStation 4. There’s a lot of new stuff coming for PlayStation 4 players in the coming few months, according to the developers.

New Minecraft DLC Now Available

Mojang has also announced that a new Minecraft DLC is arriving this week on PlayStation 4, PS3, and PlayStation Vita. There are two different DLCs that will be available for downloads. The Mass Effect Mash-Up Pack and the Pattern Texture Pack will be available for downloads starting March 25. The new Minecraft DLC will feature a crossover amongst Bioware’s Mass Effect and the open-world sandbox builder. The DLC will be available on the PlayStation Store.

The Mass Effect Mash-Up Pack will be available for £3.29/€3.99. The pack will allow Minecraft players to explore the Mars Facility right from the Bioware’s Mass Effect 3 title. Players will also be able to create their own worlds and cartable items using Mass Effect.

The pack will also comprise of themed UI, 36 character skins, and 22 new music tracks. These packs are a must-have for every Minecraft fan.

The other pack, Pattern Texture Pack, will be available for £0.79/€0.99. This pack will allow players to decorate their Minecraft worlds. Players will be able to add more richer colours, great patterns, and cute knitted animals. This pack will also comprise of a themed UI, and a texture set. These can be applied to freshly created or even old Minecraft worlds.
