Sony has unveiled a new In-ear Stereo Headset for PlayStation 4. The PS4 In-ear Stereo Headset, out on December 9 priced at £77.99/€89.99, features a built-in mic and AudioShield noise-reducing technology.
The new PS4 In-ear Stereo Headset is a pair of wired earphones that are designed to improving gaming audio experiences by restricting any unwanted noise. The headset features noise-reducing technology called AudioShield which may be the reason behind Sony’s steep price for the accessory.
Making up the In-ear Stereo Headset’s cables is a blue woven fabric, while the box also comes with small, medium, and large interchangeable ear-tips. The complete package is complemented by a pair of 13mm speakers that are configured for deep bass audio. The versailatile, albeit quite pricey headset connects into the DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller, and will also work with other devices that have standard headphone jacks. A pouch is included for storing the headset when not in use.

To experience the isolation and full sound from their gaming, players simply have to activate AudioShield for uninterrupted audio during play and when listening to their music playlists. The noise reducing technology is powered by a rechargeable battery that provides up to 15 hours of use and can be charged by using a USB cable that is included in the box.
The new PS4 In-ear Stereo Headset also boasts an in-built microphone which means it can double up as mic for chatting with friends during games, taking calls on your smartphone, or listening to audio on other devices.
The In-ear Stereo Headset for PS4 will be available at retail outlets in the United Kingdom and Ireland from the 4th of December. The rest of Europe, territories such as the Middle East and Africa, as well as countries such as Australia and New will be able to buy theirs from the 9th of December this year.
