  1. Super Stardust Ultra

Super Stardust Ultra VR

Nothing could be more exciting than playing a game on PlayStation VR with first person perspective. The game we are talking about here is the Super Stardust Ultra VR, which is one of the first games that will be launching for the all new PlayStation VR. You will get a first person view of the cockpit from where you’ll be fighting off the enemies coming from every angle.

While in the cockpit, you will have access to a range of advanced weapon systems that include missiles, plasma cannons, EMPs and an Inertial Disruptor. The best part is that your head will be the targeting system; the pilot just needs to look at the target and pull the trigger. The gameplay has been divided into two difficulty levels, where you can fight for a spot in the online leaderboard to claim the title of best Super Stardust pilot.

The developers designed the Invasion Zone especially for the VR variant of the game and you will get to play all the Super Stardust Ultra game modes in the VR version too. With all the enhancements made to the classic game modes for the VR iteration, the gaming experience on the game is going to be top notch. The official PlayStation Blog mentioned that game will launch ‘soon’, but didn’t give any specific date. Though, you can pre-order the Super Stardust Ultra VR now.

Talking about the gameplay, the story revolves around an assembly that is hiding from the world to conducting scientific researches and experiments while avoiding any government scrutiny and society’s morals. The player will have to discover all the secrets of the assembly and their underground facility. 1. SuperHyperCube

    SuperHyperCube PS VR

SuperHyperCube is in development by Kokoromi and Playtronic and will be one of the confirmed PlayStation VR titles. They call it ‘retro-futuristic arcade puzzler’, and the game stands true to all the words in the phrase! The game is indeed really simple to play, yet complicated enough to keep you hooked for long.

You begin with one cube, and you have to fit and pass it through an approaching wall. Additional cubes will snap to the original cube, making a random cluster of cubes.

That means that the cluster will grow with each passing wall, and then the difficulty bar will be raised. You will have to rotate the cluster of cubes to fit into the opening of the approaching wall. The twist here is that the hole in the wall isn’t visible behind the cube cluster and you will have to move your head around to figure out the hole shape to fit the cubes in and let them pass. If you aren’t fast enough, you’ll eventually hit the wall and the game will be over.

SuperHyperCube offers an array of power-ups to help you clear the level easily. The first one is the Time Warp that temporarily slows down the time so you can align your cluster. Another one is the Smash and it lets the player smash the cluster through the wall, leaving it in shattered pieces. This retro-futuristic arcade puzzler will be made available starting 13th October 2016, alongside the PlayStation VR launch.
