The lineup for August’s PlayStation Plus games has now been revealed by Sony so below we compile the freebies that PlayStation 4 gamers can look forward this month. Without further ado, here are all the PS4 title PS Plus will have to offer in August 2015 . . .
Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones
Created by the talented team at Curve Digital, Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones is the company’s latest entry in the Stealth Inc series which initially kicked off as a side project of designer Jonathan Biddle.
A game of Clones will test the brain power and reflexes of players as they take on the role of a clone escaping a sinister and high-tech testing facility with over 60 different levels.
Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones has a little bit of all major stealth games in it. Titles like Metal Gear Solid, Thief, Splinter Cell, and classic platformers like Abe’s Odyssey, Cave Story and Super Meat Boy have heavily inspired the company’s latest edition of Stealth Inc. Also available on PS Vita and PS3.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
Gamers on PlayStaion 4 can revive their roles as Lara Croft as the heroine returns in yet another adventure. In Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris players will face the evil god Set with the help of the incarcerated gods Isis and Horus in Egypt.Lara will also have to join forces with rival treasure hunter Carter Bell in order to see the task through.
Highlights in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris include a 4 player co-op mode where players will have to work together to avoid traps, figure out tricky puzzles, and defeat your Egyptian underworld enemies. The spirit of competition is upheld as players can still fight to earn bigger rewards, better treasures, and more powerful artefacts to boost their character.
Featuring all the best that Lara Croft Guardian of Light had to offer, Temple of Osiris brings back fast paced action, isometric and cinematic camera, dangerous puzzles, deep tomb exploration, lethal traps, and more.
Sound Shapes
Next up is the musical platformer from Queasy Games where everything in its world creates music; Sound Shapes. First released in August of 2012 and the holder of numerous awards, Sound Shapes lets you play through countless levels in which shapes and sound mix together to create an awesome platforming gaming experience.
Players can combine building environments, enemies, challenges, and composing their own music to create their own levels which can then be shared with the rest of the Sound Shapes community.
Limbo
Last but not least is Limbo, a masterpiece of a game that has been described as dark, disturbing, freaky, and genius at the same time. With over 90 awards and counting, this classic black and white puzzle-platforming adventure lets gamers take on the role of a young boy journeying through an eerie, treacherous world as he attempts to discover the fate of his sister.
Remastered for PS4, Limbo is a puzzle game that will draw you in and make you confront your fears as you explore its eerie world.
