We have been keeping you updated on the PlayStation 4 console’s performance since it launched last November, and today we have another sales update for you.- It’s only been four months, but Sony has announced impressive sales figures again with the PS4 console reaching the milestone of 6 million units sold by the end of February 2014.
Since PS4’s launch in Japan earlier in February, the console is now pretty much available in all major territories, a total of around 57 countries worldwide. Even so, these are astonishing figures for what can be considered as a console still in launch. In contrast this amounts to more than half the sales for each of the previous gen consoles, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360
In addition the company announced that PlayStation 4 software sale surpassed the 3 million mark, also by the end of February 2014. Call of Duty: Black Ops, Killzone Shadow Fall, and Knack, were some of the best performing titles on PS4. That and a lot of PS4 Shares too. Ps4 gamers have captured over 100 million shares via the share button since the console’s launch. The button is proving popular with gamers and has resulted in a rise in spectators watching games being played. No doubt the PlayStation console will continue to break many barriers in terms of units sold, so bravo to Sony. Bravo. You created a masterpiece.
