The announcement confirming the release date of the Platinum Wireless Headset also revealed that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will support the headset’s 3D audio mode at Launch. The upcoming action adventure game from Naughty Dog will be able to do so through a patch, as will a number of other PS4 games.
MLB The Show 17, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Days Gone are just a few of the titles that have been confirmed as supporting 3D audio mode.
The Platinum Wireless Headset also folds neatly into a compact position for when you’re on the move. The headset is compatible with the PlayStation 4 console, PS VR, and any mobile devices with a 3.5mm audio connection.
Ultimately, the Platinum Wireless Headset’s 3D surround-sound audio will be a perfect accompaniment to virtual reality gaming when playing PS VR games. You may even go as far as to say that the headset could give gamers the edge by being able to hear with better clarity. And together with the PS VR rig, your gaming will become even more immersive.
