After a months of hard work, the collaboration between Q-Games and Double Eleven has resulted in the genre- blending Nom Nom Galaxy, a game you’ll surely love! Featuring a mixture of several genres, it’s all about you building giant soup factories with friends of your own, and shipping the tastiest soup into outer space!
The game is a combination of many gameplay specific themes, with elements of mining, managing resources, and classic platforming. You can run, jump, and swim all around the vast surroundings, lift and move the terrain manually, or even explode it using dynamite robots as a means to expand the soup production. The land that doesn’t support it all will collapse, while the oxygen pockets tend to expand gradually, and the water pools will quickly drain.
The ground’s mineable resources will provide you a currency which you can use to construct the factories, and even purchase corridors, machines, and weapons. And as soon as your factories actually start shipping soup, you’ll start earning cash, necessary for the expansion and the automation of your soup-making business, using robot workers and conveyor belts.
Who knows, if you work hard and continuously unlock new robot types in Nom Nom Galaxy, you might turn your soup production into a ‘Rube Goldberg’ machine!
But you’re not alone! While your profits rise, rival companies and factories all over the galaxy will fight against you for sales, so you’ll have to sell that soup faster, and make it tastier. Don’t forget to upgrade your factory’s defenses with better weaponry and turrets!
Nom Nom Galaxy features a split-screen, which means you’ll be able to play with your friends at the same time!
Every other planet out there is alive, and has a bunch of plants and wild animals which you’ll have to explore, harvest, and kill to find the best and most delicious soup in the entire galaxy. The best methods for getting the perfect recipe are re-planting ingredients near your factory, employing robot gardeners that do the harvesting for you, or even team up with your friends to kill the beasts.
There are also Challenges, that test your skills in many fun ways. Many of them last a couple of days, which means you’ll have plenty of time to improve your scores!
All in all, Nom Nom Galaxy tends to provide a long-lasting loop of opportunities for players to earn the greatest rewards. Nom Nom Galaxy will be released for PlayStation 4 on 12th May this year.
