Psyonix has revealed details of an upcoming update to its vehicular soccer video game Rocket League. The update, available on 21 February, will include support for the PS4 Pro console, Hot Wheels premium DLC cars and a host of other improvements.
The upcoming Rocket League update means that the game will now be able to run at 4K on PS4 Pro and 1080p on regular PS4 consoles. This means that the game will be running at 60 frames per second in all arenas for both single and two-player split-screen modes.
Coming in along the latest visual upgrades will be premium DLC cars from the popular Hot Wheels toy car franchise, and some free post-match item drops.
The update also looks to fix some bugs as well as optimise a range of performance aspects. There will also be a number of technical improvements reserved specifically for the PS4 console.
Lastly, the update will also introduce a “Player’s Choice” Crate which will feature items as voted for by the Rocket League community.
