Great news for Need for Speed fans today, as the games’ latest update, Showcase, is out today (February 3rd) on PS4, and it’s free! The Need for Speed Showcase Update has been designed to encourage players to share their creativity with the Need for Speed community, and with new tools added, that has now been made easier.
In the update itself, there is also a new Wrap sharing feature, in which you will be able to share your custom-made wraps to the PlayStation gaming world. But that’s not all, as this means that you can download wraps designed by other players as well.
The ingenious wrap-sharing feature will ensure your vehicle will always look awesome in Ventura Bay. Another amazing addition is the ability to customize your license plate. With the ability to choose from a lot of previous Need for Speed cities (like Fairhaven, Palmont City, or Bayview for example), you will be able to apply frames to get the complete look.
The Need for Speed Showcase Update
With Need for Speed players always looking for a way to show off their rides in style, another cool feature in the update called Snapshot Pro allows you to showcase them with style. Snapshot Pro is a sub-menu in which you can change the camera’s point of view at the car, and apply filters as well.
As this Need for Speed’s expansion itself was solely about customizing your vehicles from head to toe, the game’s developers have been listening to those playing it, and just like their “Legends” update, this one will feature over 100 new items, all of which will become available today. To be more specific, eleven cars will get new items.
Finally, the update will feature three new trophies: Filter Addict, Wrap Artist, and Climbing the Ranks. Check out what you’re required to do in order to achieve those trophies when the update comes out, but until then, have fun on the streets!
