Video Games developer EA Dice has released a new story trailer and closed beta details for the hotly anticipated Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Both the new Mirror’s Edge Catalyst story trailer and trial run give fans waiting for the games’ release on 26 May a taste of what it will be like to play as the free running and carefree lead protagonist, Faith Connors.
In the game, Faith’s happy-go-lucky lifestyle is brought to a halt when she encounters the evil conglomerate led by the crafty Gabriel Kruger. The rich storyline will require players to master the fluid free running and combat skills that Faith will need to stop the oppressive organisation and become the catalyst for change.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Closed Beta
The Mirror’s Edge Catalyst closed Beta is now open for registration and a few lucky players will be able to sample the game prior to its retail release in May. The beta is open to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers, as well as for those using Origin on PC, so early registration is advised to ensure a spot on the list.
Players wishing to register for the closed beta also have to have an EA account to be able to sign up. If you do not have an EA account, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for one as part of the Beta registration process.
From the trailer above it looks as if it will be well worth the hassle of signing up for the Mirror’s Edge Catalyst closed Beta. The lucky few will get to experience the universe that EA Dice has created for the open-world action-adventure game in addition to the unique free-running and combat in the games’ unique and dangerous ‘city of Glass.’
