Action platformer title Mighty No. 9 has been confirmed for release on Playstation 4 this coming summer. The game has been developed by Deepsilver in conjuction withlegendary designer Keiji Inafune and will arrive on 18th September.
Legendary game developer Deep Silver announces the cooperation with Comcept Inc. (Japan-based video game developer) and their famous game designer Keiji Inafune in order to increase the scope and audience of this amazing title. In addition to title, Deep Silver will also bring more game content for all new as well as existing players of the game.
Mighty No.9 will be releases on PS3 and PS4 simultaneously on September 18, while the PS Vita game version will come shortly after.
Mighty No. 9 is a classic Japanese 2D scrolling action game, and many of you have may have already played the previous version of this beloved game. Inti Creates and Comcept Inc have taken all of the best game elements of the 8 and 16-bit classics, and instilled them with fresh new mechanics to make the best “Mighty” accomplishment for PlayStation 4.
The content of the game is significantly improved compared to previous versions, but we will reveal just a few specific features of Mighty No. 9:
- Single player Challenge Mode with numerous mini missions, as well as so-called Boss Rush Mode that enables you to play through each of the game’s big bosses – back to back with ticking clock to measure your best time.
- 12 challenging and unique stages are available in a single player campaign.
- Also, you can unlock New Game+, and play an additional 2 extra difficulty game levels including exhausting Turbo mode.
- Online Race Battle for two players – Compete online and show others how “Mighty” you are. In this online game mode, you will race through each game stage together in a popular head to head battle.
- Two player co-op challenge online mode – Play over a dozen different online missions with your friend, as Call and his partner Beck.
- Regular and 8-bit music – There is a possibility to toggle between these two game soundtracks. Just to mention some game composers, such as Takeshi Tateishi, Manami Matsumae and Ippo Yamada.
- A completely new Ray DLC, which has a new game stage with unlockable game character and its own boss.
