Ivy Games has announced that Gravity Ghost will be coming to PlayStation 4 together with some timed exclusive content for Sony’s gaming console. The title has been critically acclaimed after its release on PC and is now set to make its début on PS4.
Gravity Ghost immerses gamers in a world where there is no killing, dying, or failure. The game instead offers blissful and smooth gameplay mechanics that allows gamers to relax and simply enjoy the pure gaming experience.
The new and exclusive PS4 content will include a new constellation universe offering new challenges an unlockable player character, and three additional bonus music tracks from the titles’ original soundtrack.
In Gravity Ghost, players take on the role of Iona, a ghost girl who flies through the constellations while searching for her friend the ghost fox. Her journey will take her to worlds where she will meet many fantastical characters including the roving spirits of different animals, stranded survivors, as well as Giants called the “Guardians”.
The unusual storyline allows players to help Iona reunite the restless spirits of the deceased animals with their bodies and thus helping her to come to terms with her own demise. Gravity Ghost is the first title from Ivy Games to come to consoles, with the studios’ previous games having been made mainly for PC. The games’ story is brought to life with the help of voice actors Logan Cunningham, who was a narrator on Bastion, Ashly Burch, and Sarah Elmaleh of Gone Home fame.
Gravity Ghost is definitely a different game when compared to other titles coming to PS4 this year and if the ratings from critics and gamers alike is anything to go by, then this may very well turn out to be one of the stand out games on the Platform this year.
