More great news for PlayStation 4 gamers, the list of confirmed PS4 games keeps growing! Lightening-fast paced shooter game Futuridim, announced for PS Vita in March by makers Mixed Bag, has now been confirmed for release on PS4.
Originally slated for release on the Vita handheld console as an all new exclusive, expanded and enhanced version titled Futuridium EP Deluxe, the developers have bowed to pressure from gamers to bring the game to the PlayStation 4 platform as well. Futuridium EP Deluxe is a fast paced 3D shooter based on games such as the 8bit classic Uridium presented in low poly 3D graphics and screen post processing effects.
Coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as an exclusive for the platforms, there is no firm release date for Futuridium EP Deluxe yet, but PS4 gamers can look forward to the following when the game becomes available:
- Simultaneous PS4 and Vita release with cross buy
- New enemies, turbo zones and teleport portals
- Amazing 1080p with 60fps action thanks to PS4’s extra power
- Great Dualshock 4 features with full sharing support
Players in the game have to rack up as many points as possible in order to top the leader-boards by assuming the role of a lost starship pilot faced with masses of enemy space dreadnoughts and a depleting energy bar with only the speed of the starship and skills as a pilot the only weapons available. That and the ability to turn your ship 180 degrees on the spot in an instant!
