The PlayStation Store has released its sales charts for 2017, with football sim Fifa 18 taking the top spot. We are well into the first week of 2018 and what looks to be a stellar year of gaming on PlayStation 4. And as we begin to look forward to some exciting upcoming titles, it’s also worth to take a look back at the best performers of the past year. 2017 was no slouch, with tons of new titles and PS4 exclusives arriving on the platform throughout the year.
2017 PlayStation Store Sales Charts Released
From PS4 games and PlayStation VR titles, to DLC downloads and PS Vita games, the lists are packed with obvious entries as well as a few surprises. As mentioned above, Fifa 18 took top spot in 2017, followed closely by Call of Duty WWII in second place. Another soccer themed game, Psyonix’s racing/ football title Rocket League, came in third. Completing the top 5 were GTA V and Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy.
Meanwhile, on PS VR the top contenders were Batman Arkham VR and Superhot in first and second respectively. In addition, the store also released the DLC content best-selling list as well.
The top downloads there had a war theme to them with the Call of Duty Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles DLC in first place. In second place was the Battlefield 1 – Premium Pass DLC. Finally, rounding up the top 3 DLC’s was Rocket League again, this time with the Rocket League – Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack.
