The list of PS4 games coming soon keeps on growing with games developer Fatshark unveiling their new PlayStation 4 game Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide.
Fatshark has been working on Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide over the last couple of years and with the game now nearly ready for release, the studio has released an announcement trailer of the first person co-operative adventure game.Inspired by countless hours playing Warhammer Fantasy Battle and set in the End Times of that iconic Warhammer Fantasy universe, Vermintide combines co-op action, first person shooter, and melee combat to produce an explosive and exciting adventure game.
Vermintide is one of a number of PS4 games coming soon and players in the game will assume the role of 1 of 5 heroes who each possess different fighting-styles, powers, tools, and personality traits. The game takes place in the city of Ubersreik which has been taken over by rat-men called Skaven. Gamers will have to combine their abilities in order to push back the hordes of rat men threatening to overrun the city. These battles will take players to a whole host of worlds ranging from the the bowels of the Under Empire to the top of the Magnus Tower.
Although set to be published under Fatshark, the studio has also been developing Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide in conjunction with Games Workshop, makers of the orignal Warhammer games. This has ensured a well polished game that stays true to the spirit of the original titles but has the upgrades of a modern fps game that supplies players with an impressive visceral combination of both ranged and melee combat.
