DRIVECLUB Bikes Expansion Revealed
In a surprise announcement at Paris Games Week 2015, Evolution Studios revealed a new standalone Expansion to car racing sim DRIVECLUB; DRIVECLUB Bikes. The developer had kept details of the new expansion under wraps and unveiled the game at the games show with news that the title would be immediately available on the PlayStation Store.
Evolution has expanded the DRIVECLUB franchise to include superbike racing and the games developer has applied its attention to detail and expertise to the new expansion well. Now in addition to driving some of the worlds best racing cars, players will also be able to try their hand at the high performance and incredible speed of superbikes
DRIVECLUB Bikes will initially feature 12 of the world’s best superbikes including those from top manufacturers such as BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, and Kawasaki.
Driveclubs superbike expansion features a full Bikes Tour campaign, which is a new game mode and special events designed to challenge players as well as help them get to grips with the new machines.
DRIVECLUB Bikes also has unlimited challenges through which racers can compete against each other in addition to the wheel to wheel action of multiplayer racing.
Personalised events will allow players to create their own events using any track, modes, and limitless weather conditions. Just as in the original DRIVECLUB, whatever players do in DRIVECLUB Bikes will unlock new rewards, customisation features, and challenges for their club.
Gamers will also be able to customise their riders and bikes with personalisation options including paintwork, rider leathers and custom helmets.
Evolution was quick to point out that with yet another Platinum trophy now available , the two franchises combined will now feature more trophies to unlock than any other PlayStation game ever made.
DRIVECLUB Bikes is available on the PlayStation Store for £15.99/€19.99, and £11.99/€14.99 for existing DRIVECLUB members.
