Good news for Call of Duty fans! The second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Ascendance, is now available on PS 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance introduces 4 brand new multiplayer maps, a new Infection and bonus weapons (like the directed energy 2-in-1 LMG / Shotgun and its OHM-Werewolf Custom Variant), as well as all-new enemies and a new kind of zombies (such as Acid Drippers, the giant Goliath Exo Zombies, )
Also, a new Exo Grappling Playlist has been added to the game. It allows players to quickly reach an elevated strategic vantage point. In the Exo Grappling ability playlist, the players will also be able to try the new mechanic for all Ascendance DLC maps.
Ascendance’s four new game maps (Site 244, Climate, Perplex, and Chop Shop) will take the fight to different destinations, from an alien crash site beneath Mount Rushmore to the hallways of a black-market exoskeleton complex. Here is a brief overview of these four new multiplayer maps:
Site 244
An alien aircraft has crash-landed, spilling its mysterious cargo beneath Mount Rushmore (USA). This medium-to-large sized 3-lane map enables for any gameplay style, focusing struggle through the craft’s fuselage, as well as around the debris-littered area. Use the map-based scorestreak in order to crack open an alien spore that instantly enhance your exoskeleton abilities and perks.
Climate
Make your way though a man-made dome in Climate – a climate-controlled biodome. This is a circular, small to medium sized map with an island structure in the center. Therefore, water and land routes channel all combats around this central island structure. However, the tides can turn at any moment, so you need to watch your step when the river gets furious and become a deadly bubbling obstacle.
Perplex
The battle takes place on the streets of Sydney, through a 5-story modular apartment complex. “Perplex” is very exciting small to medium sized map, with tight corridors and a lot of elevated vantages that fits a variety of gameplay styles. You need to adapt your game strategy mid-match when construction drones shift fragile apartment modules. It will create new cover positions and many new strategic routes (pathways).
Chop Shop
It is a medium-sized symmetrical map. Make your way through the black-market industrial complex, discovering underbelly of the exoskeleton trade in the Chop Shop. Also, you have to activate a map-based scorestreak in order to take control of the Advanced Repulsion Turret, which radiates a lethal microwave EMP.
The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Ascendance DLC PS4 continues the famous Exo Zombies story with Infection, but with a brand new chapter. The four well-known American celebrities – Rose McGowan, John Malkovich, Jon Bernthal and Bill Paxton, will have to face never-before-seen zombies (as well as other misshapen enemies) when they find themselves on the periphery of the ravaged Atlas Corporation facility.
Players will help them in their ruthless fight for survival against immortal zombie hordes, using an expanded arsenal of different hybrid weapons and traps. Yes, it’s time for another unforgettable trip to Burgertown!
