Call of Duty: WWII’s first community event – Winter Siege, is now live on PS4. The winter themed event will run from 8 December to January 2nd 2018. Call of Duty: WWII Winter Siege features tons of exclusive modes, playlists, and new content. Other highlights include limited-time content such as free weekly gifts and Winter Supply Drops. In addition, players can collect lots of special seasonal gear for the duration of the promotion.
Call of Duty: WWII Winter Siege Details
The Winter Siege is Call of Duty: WWII’s first community event since the game’s release on November 3. The limited-time event will run from December 8 to January 2 2018. Each week players will get access to weapons, new bundles, playlists, Contracts, and orders. In addition, logging in every week will earn you a free gift and other Winter Supply Drops. Capt Butcher
Other New updates include the introduction of Captain Butcher, a British Special Operations Officer. Additionally, Butcher will also be the new Quartermaster in the game during the Winter Siege. Consequently, he’ll turn out to be a vital source for limited-run winter equipment and weapons.
Featured Map: WINTER CARENTAN
The featured Map for the duration of Winter Siege will be a snow-covered version of Carentan. Winter Carentan is a war-torn snowy version of the French town in which players will be able to fight until January 2.
Limited Time Gun Game, Weapons, Winter Gear
Also available during the winter siege will be limited-time winter gear, weapons, and a featured Game Mode. The popular Call of Duty game mode, Gun Game, will make a brief return in Call of Duty: WWII as a 2xP playlist. No campaign is complete without the right gear, and players will have a selection of winter gear to choose from. Protect yourself from the biting cold with selections from the Royal British Navy, US Army, and others.
Lat but not least, Weapons. New limited-time winter weapons will be available during Winter Siege. Unique variants of weapons such as the Gewehr 43 Assault Rifle and the Sten SMG will also be available until January 2.
