The Battleborn Open Beta will be made available in “early 2016,” and with the game set for release on 9 February 2016 this can only mean that the beta may well be in January of next year. The games’ developers are working in Tandem with Sony to bring early exclusive access to PlayStation 4 gamers.

In addition to the early access there will also be a closed technical test which starts on Thursday, October 29 2015. The Closed Technical Test gives players a chance to sample one of  Battleborn’s competitive multiplayer mode, Meltdown, as well as new story mission called “The Algorithm.” Players will also be able to play as 15 of the games’ 25 playable characters during the technical test.

As just one of the many PS4 exclusives announced at the 2015 Paris Games Week by Sony, the Battleborn Open Beta is just another confirmation that PlayStation 4 is the leading gaming platform at this moment in time. Gamers on PS4 have already had a stellar lineup of titles in 2015, and 2016 looks set to be no different.
